the "use fabric to the best" project focuses on in-depth exploration of traditional chinese fabric culture and handicrafts, integrating them into modern design, attempting to transform excellent traditional culture into contemporary design inspiration, and injecting new power into the design capabilities and international competitiveness of chinese textile fabrics and crafts. starting from 2022, the five-year cooperation with the rong design library will be carried out to systematically record, sort out, study and summarize traditional fabrics and their creative contexts and craftsmanship details based on the material of fabric (cloth). by deeply exploring the essence of traditional chinese fabric culture and handicrafts, the project attempts to integrate them into modern design.

in order to allow the research to reach more industry practitioners and cultural enthusiasts, the bujinqiyong project, in the name of jiangnan buyi, has joined hands with many partners to launch an initiative to promote the "revival of the yak wool industry". fabric fibers have always been an important exploration and research direction of the bujinqiyong project, and yak wool, a precious natural fiber originating from china, still has many links in its industrial chain that need to be optimized and improved. to this end, the project team actively united various forces in the industry and jointly participated in the formulation of the "farm animal welfare requirements for yaks" group standard, aiming to build a full-scale, multi-level cooperation system from the source of raw material collection to the terminal consumer market, and jointly promote the comprehensive upgrading and revitalization of china's local yak wool industry by integrating upstream and downstream resources.

in addition, the "make the most of fabric" project, in the name of jiangnan buyi, has joined hands with sesame lab to actively explore the reshaping and reuse of scattered fabrics in stock, giving them new vitality and value, so that traditional culture and modern design can gain new vitality in the collision. from the deconstruction research of fabric materials to the design creation of empowering brands, the "make the most of fabric" project has always adhered to the core vision of jiangnan buyi since its launch, hoping to build a platform through the application and promotion of the brand to aggregate resources from multiple parties, and actively help the industry and every link of the industrial chain to achieve optimization and growth in multiple dimensions such as deepening regional cultural protection, promoting handicraft inheritance, and stimulating design innovation.

in the future, the "making the best use of fabric" project will continue to uphold the love and cherishment of traditional culture. through the diversified creation of the project, it will allow more forces to participate in the deep thinking and creation of inheritance in modern applications, arouse contemporary people's respect for traditional crafts and pursuit of innovation, stimulate the industry's innovation awareness and inspiration, and continuously improve china's textile fabrics and craftsmanship design capabilities and international competitiveness, and provide positive guidance and influence for the sustainable development of chinese clothing and design creation.
