Efficient urban transportation helps shorten the time it takes to transport goods within the city, reducing transportation costs and potential delays. Goods can be transported from production sites to airports more quickly, improving the timeliness and reliability of air transportation.

At the same time, the construction of a new capital is often accompanied by the layout and adjustment of industries. It may attract more companies to settle in, thereby increasing the demand for air transport and freight. Especially for products with high added value and high timeliness requirements, air transport will become the preferred mode of transportation.

From a policy perspective, the Indonesian government’s emphasis on the construction of the new capital may also lead to support and inclination in related policies, which may include investment in logistics infrastructure, tax incentives, and optimization of regulatory policies to promote the development of the air transport cargo industry.

On the other hand, the development of the new capital may promote the optimization and expansion of the air transport network. With the concentration of population and economic activities, airlines may increase flights to Nusantara or open new routes. This will not only help improve the coverage of air transport, but also strengthen economic ties with other regions.

However, we cannot ignore the challenges and problems that may exist.
